Welcome to the team page of those who support Doug, Denise, and our various ministry teams throughout the reach of Insignia Ministries. Team members support the work that goes forward in the same spirit in which someone provided it for each of us when we were younger — and less mature in our lives — who now have gratitude for how we are turning out, and wish to provide that opportunity for others.
Our Work is described As:
- Faith-based But Not In-Your-Face.
- Young Life for Adults.
- Challenging for Believers; Inviting for Not-Yet-Believers.
- Church Without the Buildings.
- Leading Camels Through the Eyes of Needles.
Our Convictions Are:
- Discipleship that doesn’t “pass it on” is not biblical discipleship. (Mark 1:17, Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Timothy 2:2)
- We are witnesses in the courtroom of life. (Acts 1:8)
- Imitative discipleship, means we try to model it, not just say it. (1 Corinthians 11:1, 1 Corinthians 4:16, Ephesians 5:1, 1 Thessalonians 1:6)
- Excellence honors God and inspires people. (Colossians 3:23)
- In the battle going on around us; we can be players or pawns. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
- We all have God-given talents and we’re designed to use them, as we are most fulfilled and more fully alive when we’re deployed, and utilizing them purposefully, with others who are like-minded and like-hearted. (Romans 12:6a)
- We weren’t created to try this alone. (Galatians 6:2, Hebrews 10:24-25, Proverbs 27:9)
- Faith holds on to what reason has accepted and does not allow doubts to master us. (Hebrews 11:1, Romans 12:1-2, 2 Timothy 1:7, 12)
